The Sino-French Aviation University project in Hangzhou with the participation of Juli Rigging ushered in an important node, and the public center group of large roof steel structure cables located in the air of 50 meters were completed, thus, the giant "wing" with a length of 395 meters and a width of 160 meters took shape, and also laid a solid foundation for the completion of the overall project of the university in the second quarter of this year.
The huge roof in mid-air was designed at the beginning of the planning of the Air University of China and France, which fully presents the scientific and technological texture of the aviation field, and complies with the surrounding mountains, with the middle natural concave arc on both sides, and the whole suspended large roof shape is as light as the wing, which is currently the largest span of stainless steel airtight cable-steel truss ultra-long roof in Asia. Juli Rigging is responsible for the supply of stainless steel sealing cables for this project.
The base consists of the administration building, library, concert hall, development buildings and public teaching buildings, collectively known as the "Central Cluster", which is the research and learning center of the campus. The large roof steel structure system is composed of the north steel truss system, the central catenary structure and the south steel truss system, with a total steel structure of about 8,000 tons.
Stainless steel sealing cable is mainly the use of stainless steel wire for the required product shape to fabricate a preset strength of the cable. Stainless steel sealing cable has a good anticorrosion ability, this anticorrosion ability is its surface with a layer of chromium-rich oxide film, the thickness of the oxide film is related to the quality of corrosion resistance.
Take the difficult cable installation, the super curved suspension steel roof with a height of about 3.5 meters, after each truss is lifted, it is necessary to find the most appropriate Angle to make the tilt state. The longest truss has a continuous span of about 120 meters. The large roof is composed of "bidirectional steel truss + mid-span cable structure". The catenation state of 110 meters fully suspended in the central area is composed of two side trusses and 36 stainless steel cable with a diameter of 70 mm in the middle. The construction traction and tension, accuracy, temperature, and distortion and deflection of double cables are unavoidable problems.
